Compensation

Total compensation for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays. Availability must include a minimum of two evenings per week and two weekends per month. Average hours per week is 20 hours.

Responsibilities

• Scan merchandise UPCs for in-stock status, fill shelves, peg hooks and fixtures with appropriate product with an emphasis on efficiency and quality of work
• Ability to navigate inventory technologies such as AS400 platform and handheld inventory scanners
• Assist customers and sales people with retrieving product
• Ability to be organized, multi-task and maintain all aspects of a support role
• Ability to work independently and with the team
• Maintain an orderly appearance of personal workspace and surrounding areas
• General cleaning and organization throughout the store including backstock areas
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrates strong problem solving skills and the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Exercise judgement and tack while working with customers and co-workers
• Willing to do other tasks as assigned by the leadership team or support leads
• Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere by treating others with respect and consideration while taking pride in being part of a winning team

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or General Education Degree; and/or 1-3 months of data entry experience

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.
