Project Manager

Schermer is seeking our next great Project Manager! As a Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of client projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Your role will require a mix of planning, prioritizing tasks, managing workloads and effective communication to drive the team's success and meet client objectives. You will play a critical role in assessing project needs, anticipating potential risks and crafting solutions to address challenges proactively. Success in this role requires someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative and able to navigate ambiguity. This is not a remote position; we need you in our Minneapolis offices at least three days a week.

The PM is responsible for developing estimates and detailed schedules, managing resources, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure deliverables and dates are communicated, planned, understood and executed. Equally important is the evaluation and measurement of the projects’ performance both during and at completion.

We are looking for a PM who is skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects and find great satisfaction in driving both the internal and client team to success. Here are the specific qualifications we’re looking for:

• 3 years of experience as a Project Manager within an agency (that last bit is important)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality
• Proven ability to create and maintain project documentation, schedules and reports
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on anticipating and mitigating risks
• Experience managing cross-functional teams while fostering collaboration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel and Power Point
• Familiarity with project management tools like Workamajig, Advantage or Monday, and with collaboration tools such as Sharepoint, Teams and Figjam
