What are the responsibilities and job description for the Schmidt's Concessions Team Members position at Schmidt's Sausage Haus?
Schmidt’s Restaurant und Sausage Haus is looking for enthusiastic, high energy, Festival Concessions Team Members who enjoys a challenge. This is position requires evening and weekend availability. Schmidt’s is building a team to our over million-dollar festival concession division. Schmidt’s is responsible for roughly 50 fairs and festival events a year. Our family owned and operated business has over 130 years in the food service industry.
General responsibilities – Job overview
- Help load and setup for different festivals
- Offers legendary hospitality
- Works with a point of sale system and cash register
- Prepares, cooks, and sells all of Schmidt’s famous food.
- Works continuously in a team setting.
- Assist with other needs Schmidt’s brand may have.
Qualifications
- Experience helpful, but not required
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and work 10-12 hour shifts
- Ability to lift 40 pounds to chest height
- Organized, friendly, and energetic and outgoing
- Reliable Transportation
