JOB DESCRIPTION
Education
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills. Successful completion of course on arrhythmia detection.
Experience
Minimum: Experience in a healthcare setting or other medical office experience.
Preferred: 1-2 years experience as unit support in a hospital setting
SUMMARY|
1. Performs Bone Density (DEXA) scans according to departmental protocol by demonstrating proper anatomy and use of radiation protection devices using ALARA guidelines. |
| 2. Accurately prepares Bone Density (DEXA) scans and paperwork for the radiologist interpretation by processing orders in MEDITECH, Fluency and PACS. |
| 3. Utilizes communication skills that provide a high level of customer service. |
