JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Minimum: Associates degree in Physical Therapy required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Indiana PTA license or temporary license required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum: Clinical rotation experience in in-patient and out-patient environments with varied diagnoses.
Preferred: At least 2 years work experience as licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in varied environments including in-patient, out-patient, and home healthcare.
SKILLS
- Diplomacy, tactfulness, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills and effective problem solving
- Communication/speaking skills to receive and give information in person and by telephone
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team setting and independently as needed
- Ability to problem solve utilizing critical thinking skills
- Ability to assess, collect, record and interpret data
- Possesses basic computer skills and the willingness to learn computer documentation system
