Client Relations Specialist
The Client Relations Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary liaison between the clinical laboratory and its clients. This role ensures that clients receive timely and accurate services, addresses their concerns, and helps with resolving any issues related to the lab’s operations. The Client Relations Specialist also works closely with other departments, including sales, operations, and technical teams, to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
*Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information regarding lab services and testing results.
*Account Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships by proactively understanding client needs and identifying opportunities for upselling additional services.
* Client Onboarding: Assist new clients in setting up accounts, understanding lab procedures, and utilizing the lab’s order systems and platforms (such as portals or software interfaces).
* Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve any client complaints or concerns promptly by working closely with internal teams such as laboratory staff, billing, and customer service.
* Coordination of Services: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of lab services, including coordination of specimen pickups, report deliveries, and any additional client requests.
* Client Training: Provide training and ongoing support to clients on using the lab’s online portal, test ordering procedures, and interpreting results.
* Reporting and Feedback: Collect client feedback regularly and report insights to management to improve overall customer satisfaction and service offerings.
* Client Engagement: Organize and participate in client engagement activities such as meetings, webinars, and client appreciation events to foster long-term relationships.
* Compliance: Ensure all client interactions and lab services comply with healthcare and laboratory regulations, including HIPAA, CLIA, and CAP standards. Qualifications:
Qualifications
*Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, business administration, or related field preferred
*Experience: 2 years of experience in client relations or customer service, preferably in a healthcare or clinical laboratory setting.
* Skills: ◦ Excellent communication, both verbal and written. ◦ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex client issues. ◦ Familiarity with clinical laboratory processes and regulations. ◦ Proficiency in client relationship management (CRM) tools and lab information systems (LIS). ◦ Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. ◦ Strong attention to detail and organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a clinical laboratory or healthcare environment.
- Understanding of medical terminology and laboratory test requisition workflows.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other relevant healthcare privacy laws and regulations.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
