Job Description:
The Design Engineer will drive product development by designing and testing embedded hardware from concept through production, ensuring high quality, cost efficiency, and timely release.
- Responsible for all phases of embedded hardware design including technical analysis of product requirements.
- Recommend design alternatives, functional specifications, schematic design, and PCB layout.
- Debug hardware and verification testing.
- Ensure products are released to manufacturing on schedule, at cost target and with great quality.
Position Requirements:
- Design analog and digital circuitry with accuracy and reliability
- Work with computer programs to design circuits and hardware
- Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Technicians to understand workflow, design process, budgets and deadlines
- Create detailed electrical schematics & choose appropriate electronic components to meet requirements
- Create, organize, and manage detailed documentation
- Troubleshoot/debug new and existing hardware
- Test, verify, and validate designs
- Use Oscilloscopes (analog and digital), Multi-meters, RF Network analyzers, RF Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, power supplies, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree (ABET accredited)
- 5 yrs experience with Analog and Digital Circuitry
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s degree
- Experience with wireless technology
- HVAC/R industry experience

Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
