We’re Hiring! Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Driver
Are you a reliable, compassionate individual with a strong work ethic and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others? Seasons Hospice in Springfield, MO is looking for a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Driver to join our team.
Job Overview:
As a DME Driver, you will play a critical role in our patients’ care by providing prompt, courteous delivery, setup, and patient education for home medical equipment. This role ensures that patients and families receive the highest standard of service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and set up medical equipment as directed by the care team.
- Provide patient and family instruction on equipment use.
- Ensure medical equipment is clean, maintained, and meets safety standards.
- Maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and operational.
- Accurately complete company records and documentation.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and resolve service issues.
- Support warehouse organization and inventory compliance.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Assist with other duties and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred but not required; equivalent training/experience will be considered.
- Valid, clear driver’s license with the ability to pass background and drug screenings.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds regularly.
- Must be at least 18 years old and available for on-call rotation.
