About the Job
As the Vice President of Land Acquisition, you will lead efforts to identify and secure prime land opportunities, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and oversee the due diligence process. Your expertise in real estate markets and regulatory processes will ensure the company remains a leader in the homebuilding industry.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate land acquisition opportunities in line with company growth strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, developers, and municipalities.
- Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate with internal teams to assess project viability.
- Oversee the due diligence process, including environmental assessments, entitlement work, and financial analyses.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and project deliverables for land acquisition initiatives.
- Stay up to date with market trends and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
- 7 years of experience in land acquisition, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Strong negotiation, financial analysis, and project management skills.
- Deep knowledge of Florida’s real estate markets, land development, and entitlement processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
