What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Technician position at Secret Garden Landscapes?
We are hiring a Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our growing firm! This position is for immediate hire.
Duties:
- Perform various groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Assist in landscape maintenance activities including planting, watering, and fertilizing
- Use hand tools and equipment to dig, install, and maintain hardscape features
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration of plants
- Help build and maintain outdoor structures such as fences, decks, and patios
- Requires extended periods of activity including walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting, up to 100% of work day.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools commonly used in landscaping work
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as digging and lifting heavy objects
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
-Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis about the work site.
