Job Description:
We are looking for a Junior Help Desk Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you will help employees with their computer and software problems, provide basic tech support, and assist with everyday IT issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist employees with technical issues related to computers, software, and network.
- Answer support tickets and resolve problems via phone, email, or remote support tools.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Manage user accounts (reset passwords, update permissions).
- Keep track of issues and solutions in the help desk system.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with users.
- Help document procedures and troubleshooting steps.
Required Skills:
- 1-5 years of experience in IT support or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac OS.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and common software tools.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- CompTIA A or other IT certifications.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Zendesk, or ticketing systems.
- Experience with remote desktop tools.
Education:
- Associate’s degree in IT or related field is preferred, but not required.
Work Environment:
- Onsite role in Las Vegas, NV.
- Long-term contract position with high chance of extension.
