What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acquisitions Analyst position at SecureSpace Self Storage?
GSA Management/InSite Property Group is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst with a strong interest in real estate acquisitions to help support SecureSpace Self Storage. The Analyst will work closely with the Acquisitions Team and Senior Management to assist with the identification, analysis, and due diligence of potential acquisitions for InSite.
This position will begin in July of 2025 and is ideal for 2025 college graduates.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in financial modeling
- Supporting real estate acquisitions and development team with underwriting new real estate projects
- Assist with conducting market research and analysis including market comps, supplying analysis and market share review
- Assist in preparation of investment memorandums for Senior Management and Investment Committee
- Assist with special projects for Senior Management
Other Functions:
- Must be willing to travel to other company sites as necessary
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or other related Business majors with relevant or related fields
- 0-2 years relevant experience, preferably in either real estate acquisitions, commercial real estate brokerage, or asset management
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of financial reports and accounting
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex ideas to acquisitions team
- Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passion for real estate and driving business within acquisitions
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Salary Range:
- $95,000 - $105,000
