To assist the JCPC Administration for Bladen County in compliance with required guidelines and regulations of the County of Bladen, the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention program which is a section of the NC Department of Public Safety.
Funding The hours required in this position may vary. It is a part-time position. The rate of pay will be $400 per month. Funding is provided through the NC Department of Public Safety DUTIES
Scheduling/coordinating meetings
Preparing lunch menus and arrange caterers and setup venue for monthly meetings
Ordering
Preparing and distributing/emailing council members agenda packets for monthly meeting minutes. Includes receiving monthly reports from program managers and including in agenda packets.
Preparing purchase orders, budget, budget revisions, third quarter accounting, and final accounting documents.
Preparing payment tracking form and submitting payment requests to finance
Maintain spreadsheet and general ledger for the Administration budget and reporting financial report at monthly meetings
Preparing Request for Proposal (RFP) each February for approval by the board and publishing in the Bladen Journal, Bladenonline.com and JCPC website
Assisting/facilitating in preparing the JCPC Certification and Annual County Plan and obtaining Board of Commissioners approval for submission to the DJJDP
Making JCPC member reservations for conferences and seminars
Preparing JCPC member expense reports and submitting to finance for payment
Preparing and submitting JCPC Advisory Board appointments to the Board of Commissioners for approval
Submitting reports to the DJJDP Area Office as required
Other duties as assigned.

Must have knowledge of rules, regulations and policy concerning JCPC. Computer skills are necessary. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
