We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Teller to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service while handling various banking transactions. Your expertise in cash handling and customer relationship management will be essential in fostering trust and satisfaction among our clientele.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and ensure compliance with all cash handling procedures.
- Identify and report any suspicious activities related to fraud prevention detection.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding their accounts, products, and services, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Utilize financial software to manage transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Perform retail math calculations to assist customers with their financial needs.
- Support loan processing by gathering necessary documentation from clients.
- Engage with customers to build relationships and promote additional services that meet their financial goals.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on financial regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in financial services or retail environment preferred.
- Strong math skills with proficiency in retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with fraud prevention detection techniques is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient transaction processing.
- Experience with cash handling and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Knowledge of financial software applications is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.82 - $16.03 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
