BIOMEDICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN
Position Summary
Provide repairs and preventative maintenance for Biomedical equipment. Maintain records, document results, and coordinate outside resources for repairs.
**OPEN TO RELOCATION**
Essential Duties
- Perform repairs and calibration to biomedical equipment and maintain service records.
- Assist other personnel as required.
- Research resources and suppliers.
- Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Participate in ongoing educational opportunities provided.
- Work with auditing agencies and their requirements i.e., ACHA, TJC.
- Work with NFPA-99 and electrical leakage limits with good understanding of biological parameters (monitoring; HR/Pulse O2/O2 sat/pressures/etc.)
Required Experience
- 1 years of experience repairing Biomedical Equipment.
- Preference for experience with hemodialysis, ventilators, and anesthesia equipment.
- An associate's degree with a qualifying internship can take the place of 1 year of experience.
