We are seeking a dynamic Staffing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance within our organization.
Job Summary:
The Recruiter / Staffing Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the staffing needs of the organization. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process from start to finish.
Job Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with branch managers and or clients to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
- Source and attract candidates using various channels, such as job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct interviews to assess applicants' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to a job placement.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes such as background checks and reference verifications.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Prepare and present recruitment reports to management, providing insights into hiring trends and challenges.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, clients, and external networking contacts.
- Stay informed about the latest recruiting trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
- Participate in job fairs, career events, and other networking opportunities to promote the company and attract talent.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing techniques.
- Strong understanding of recruitment practices, basic California employment law, and interviewing techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR-related software.
- Experience working with diverse talent pools and understanding different industries is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) written and conversational
Experience
- Proven experience in internal recruiting and relationship management
- Familiarity with HR software such as Kronos, and Taleo
- Ability to conduct employee orientations and training development
- Knowledge of employment labor laws and compliance requirements
