Food Service Worker

Job Summary
Selrico is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team in working inside a correctional facility. Start time is 3:30 am, and last shift will be at 10-10:30 pm. We offer flexible shifts. Must pass an extensive background check. Must be ok working with low level inmates, (DWI).

Duties

• Shifts will start as early as 3:30 am, shifts will vary
• Attendance is one of the highest priorities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
• Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and accommodating dietary needs as necessary.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food supplies and reporting shortages.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or food preparation is preferred.
• Familiarity with fine dining practices, banquet setups, or catering services is a plus.
• Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety regulations within the food industry is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as necessary for food service tasks.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service are highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
