Providence Place - Community Life Assistant - Full Time

Providence Place, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for dedicated and passionate Community Life Assistant to join our growing team.

Providence Place is conveniently located on the bus route, located in southern Minneapolis in the Standish Ericcson neighborhood. Here we provide services for our seniors in a TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care, Long-Term Care and Memory Care. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently for over 25 years and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting senior.

Shifts Available: Full-Time Days (Every other weekend and holiday rotation)
Community Life Assistant Wage: $17.50-$22.50 wage is based on experience

In this position, you will be responsible to assist the Community Life Department Supervisor in the development, organization, coordination and implementation of comprehensive community life and wellness services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each tenant. Duties include:

Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.

Promote and integrate the wellness dimensions into the community life programs.

Communicate programs and develop positive relations with residents, family, and volunteers.

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience working in Assisted Living and Memory Care is preferred.

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.

Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
