Position Summary:
The Spa Curator is the first point of contact for all visitors and is therefore pivotal in making sure all guests of Sensory Sentiments receive outstanding customer service. The Spa Curator is primarily responsible for managing all front desk operations as well as overseeing the retail section of the spa. This individual must truly embody customer service and work diligently to ensure all guests experience a warm, welcoming environment throughout their entire visit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, luxury hospitality, and an eye for retail presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with a warm and professional demeanor. Manage check-ins and check-outs, schedule appointments, and ensure that all guest interactions are smooth and efficient.
- Ensure that guests feel welcomed, informed, and cared for during their visit. Address any questions or concerns, offering solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee the retail section of the spa, ensuring that products are properly displayed, stocked, and promoted to enhance the guest experience. Provide knowledgeable product recommendations based on guest needs.
- Actively promote spa retail products and services to guests. Assist with executing sales and promotional campaigns to drive retail revenue.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and retail area. Ensure that all administrative tasks such as booking appointments, managing guest preferences, and processing payments are handled with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work closely with other spa staff to coordinate treatment schedules and ensure seamless guest experience. Provide assistance to the Spa Director and Assistant Spa Director as needed.
- Follow up with guests’ post-visit to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Maintain a personalized approach to guest relations.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a front desk, customer service, or concierge role, preferably in a luxury spa, hotel, or retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
- Proficiency with scheduling software, point-of-sale systems, and general administrative duties.
- Knowledge of luxury retail products, spa services, and wellness offerings is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable guest experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a high-end retail environment, particularly within the wellness or beauty industry.
- Familiarity with luxury spa brands, treatments, and services.
- Knowledge of retail sales strategies and inventory management.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- Certification or training in customer service, hospitality, or wellness.
