Position Summary:
The Spa Caretaker is instrumental in making sure each guest enjoys their spa experience by making sure all areas are clean and well cared for. The Spa Caretaker must be quick to respond to any requests regarding the cleanliness and upkeep of the overall facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean all areas which include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning restrooms.
- Wipe down and sanitize surfaces.
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance.
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs.
- Stock and maintain supply rooms.
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins.
- Replace light bulbs and clean fixtures.
- Adhere to the organization's policies and procedures for cleaning and maintenance.
- Participate in regular training programs to improve cleaning techniques and stay up-to-date with new products and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and follow established routines.
