Advantage Point Group is look for an Owners Representative with general, civil, mechanical, electrical and industrial construction experience to oversee the construction contractors on site and ensure they are preforming their tasks in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Owner. As an Owners Rep (sometimes called Designated Rep or Client Rep) you are the liaison between engineering and construction contractors.

Responsibilities

You will oversee contractor’s performing work in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Owner ensuring safety and compliance. The plants are under continuous improvement and change with multiple projects in progress throughout each year.

The primary need is electrical and/or mechanical experience for various industrial construction projects. Our designated representative will possess electrical, mechanical, piping and/or process electrical experience.

Candidate will NOT be the individual(s) performing the maintenance and physical labor but will observe skilled trades people who are performing these tasks.

Requirements

• 12 years previous Industrial Construction experience.
• Industrial plant, electrical, mechanical, and machinery experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
• OSHA 30, confined space and other safety certifications preferred.

Planned Schedule: D ay or night shifts, 8-9 hour days, 5-6 days a week, some weekends.

Duration: Projects can vary from 3 to 12 months however we have several people who have been with us for 10 to 25 years!

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $50-$60/hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications. A typical work week is 45 hours per week. Overtime is often expected. Eligible for per diem if not a local candidate.
