Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, including seniors and those with developmental disabilities. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in various settings, such as home health environments or group homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
• Support clients with recreational activities and encourage social engagement.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving, senior care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid principles and emergency response procedures is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs, including availability for evenings or weekends if required.

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
