What You’ll Do
As a Write / Run Reconstruction Estimator , you will play a crucial role in creating accurate Xactimate estimates and overseeing projects from estimation to completion. Your responsibilities include :
Conducting onsite inspections and preparing precise Xactimate estimates in line with program guidelines and IICRC standards .
Managing the jobs you estimate, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality restoration .
Capturing and documenting clear job site photos and uploading essential data into our 365 system .
Communicating with insurance adjusters , clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and scheduling subcontractors to keep projects on track.
Reviewing and submitting change orders, supplements, and final invoicing details.
Providing excellent customer service , guiding homeowners and business owners through the repair process and payment expectations.
Ensuring all necessary permits, inspections, and compliance requirements are met.
What You Bring
We’re looking for a motivated and experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Ideal candidates should have :
- 3 years of Xactimate estimating experience (required).
- 3 years of construction project management experience (5 years preferred).
- 2 years of restoration industry experience .
- Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and damage restoration processes .
- Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize , and remain calm under pressure .
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills .
- Experience managing teams of subcontractors and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in using smartphones, tablets, and job management software .
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation .
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs , stand / walk for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
