Construction Finisher

Servpro is looking for a Construction Finisher

As a Construction Finisher with Servpro, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers and clients! In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil,

chalk, and marking gauge.

• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe

and clean environment.

• Verify trueness of structure, using plumb bob,  level or laser level.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools,

machines, or power saw.

• Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand

tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.

• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, windows,  floors, and

other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines,

carpenter’s hand tools, and power tools.

• Measure, cut and install trim, baseboard and casing with accuracy.

Must be able to apply different applications properly.

• Fill cracks and other defects in plaster or plasterboard and sand

patch, using patching plaster, trowel, and sanding tool.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma / GED
• Previous construction management experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability
• Effective written and oral communication

Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies

• Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
• Ability to walk and / or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
