Description
Sese Industrial is a greenfield operation that has an immediate opening for an Experienced Recruiter. Under the guidance of the HR Manager, the Experienced Recruiter is responsible for enhancing department functions by recruiting, onboarding, and employee orientation programs, the administration of employee benefits, maintaining employee handbook, and answer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, policies, and procedures.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices for interviewing and candidate selection.
- Coordinate the recruitment and interview process, including phone screens, posting job ads, scheduling applicants, sending application information, and gathering feedback as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate interactions, and hiring outcomes. Provide regular reports to the HR Manager on recruitment metrics and progress.
- Ensure that employee questions and concerns are resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist with employee processing of terminations, employee salary & status changes, and other updates in the payroll system, benefits management system, and other relevant systems.
- Key employee time, bonuses, and incentives into HRIS system
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws, taxes, and best practices.
- Coordinate employee and background check verifications.
- Assist in year-end employee W-2 and employer ACA reporting.
- Reinforce company culture and values to support a positive work environment and foster morale among staff.
- Verify I-9 documentation and maintain file.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all employee and proprietary company information.
- Perform benefits assistance to include new hire onboarding, answering benefits inquiries, change reporting.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives.
- Build community outreach programs and initiatives.
- Assist with coordinating employee meetings and group events, assists with preparing agendas, and reserving and preparing facilities.
- Assist with maintaining safety/ injury report and coordinating with HS Supervisor.
- Assist HR Manager with projects and assignments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years proven experience in human resources.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Understanding of Federal, State, and District employment laws, taxes, and regulations.
- Skilled in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word) and Google Docs
- A high degree of discretion, professional ethics, and judgment in confidential matters and information
- Ability to communicate the Sese Industrial Services US Corp. culture and support an engaged work environment.

- Ability to analyze problems, gather pertinent data and recommend solutions.
- Ability to maintain composure and good judgment when dealing with deadlines, dissatisfied employees, or a fast-paced environment.
