General Labor

Job Summary: Maintain efficient operation of all plant equipment while following all safety procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• This position requires training in the operations process and in safety and sanitation areas
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time
  Speed is an essential element in this job
• Ability to make a minimum of 15 (fifteen) shells per minute
• Filling trays with pasta shells and brings them to a machine that automatically dispenses the cheese; otherwise, pasta shells will be distributed by a machine
• The employee must fill the shell with the cheese and place the shell on a conveyor
• All shell line employees are responsible for keeping the production line and area clean
• Shell line employees may work in other areas of the factory when production needs necessitate
• Must follow the GMP, workplace rules, Supervisor's directive, and be sure that all products meet our high standards

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for several hours at a time and walk from one place to another
• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, and toxic or caustic chemicals
• The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
