CAD Technician Job Description
Position Summary
Seeking a CAD Tech for a local upholstered furniture company.
Candidate must have experience in creating & reading AutoCAD drawings and must possess a good understanding of MS Office products. Candidate needs to be very detail oriented and have good written and verbal communication skills.
Daily duties and responsibilities:
Create & modify CAD drawings
Create on CAM drawings for CNC machinery
Create factory reports as needed
Evaluate all drawings to ensure accuracy and specifications
Communicate with team to help identify issues with drawings
Education:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD required
Other software includes:
- SigmaNEST
- Mastercam
- Assyst & Style CAD
Experience in upholstered furniture preferred but not required
