Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Upholstery Sewing professionals to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sewing and repairing upholstered fabric items, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing upholstered furniture and a strong understanding of various fabrics and sewing techniques. This position requires proficiency in operating sewing machines and a commitment to producing exceptional work.
Responsibilities
- Sew upholstery fabric/materials according to design specifications.
- Operate sewing machines efficiently to ensure quality stitching and finishing.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Sew bundles from orders to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within your department
Experience
- Proven sewing experience in furniture upholstery is preferred.
- Familiarity with various sewing techniques and variety of fabric materials
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications accurately.
- Previous experience working in a production setting
