Essential Job Functions:
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct price analysis to evaluate current pricing strategies and their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to set competitive prices based on market research, competitor analysis, and internal data.
- Develop a series of KPIs and automated dashboards that provide actionable data analytics to the team.
- Serve as the source and knowledge base expert on revenue and profitability, providing insights that guide strategic decisions.
- Partner with the sales team to help educate team members on their performance metrics and data interpretations.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales performance metrics and pricing impacts.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales and pricing strategies.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimize sales processes and pricing models.
- Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes by providing accurate sales projections.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Continuously monitor data quality and ensure data integrity across systems.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a sales or marketing environment in support of a manufacturing business.
- Experience partnering with a sales team to provide sales analytics and insights
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) Preferred
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Expert-level skills in Excel, including the ability to write Visual Basic code for automation.
