Job Overview

Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional development.
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels for optimal patient care.
- Conduct regular reviews of patient documentation and medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with Medicare regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients in acute care settings.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Provide training and orientation for new nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Proven experience in nursing administration, preferably in home care or nursing home environments.
- Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and shift management.
- Knowledge of documentation review processes, medical records management, and Medicare regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.49 - $71.83 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
