Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Amesbury, MA. As a PTA, you will work closely with patients to assist in providing physical therapy treatments and rehabilitation under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, requiring 20-30 hours per week. Whether you are seeking a contract or PRN position, we offer flexibility to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities:

 Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist

 Educate patients on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications

 Track patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising physical therapist

 Ensure the maintenance of treatment records and patient documentation

 Maintain a clean and organized therapy space

Qualifications:

 Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Massachusetts

 Experience in outpatient or inpatient physical therapy settings preferred but not required

 Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others

 Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
