Product Project Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and proactive Project Manager to coordinate across departments and ensure the successful execution of current product launches and projects. The Project Manager will be instrumental in ensuring that all departments have the necessary information and resources to execute their responsibilities effectively. This role also involves contributing to the development and launch of new physical products, helping us bring innovative solutions to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a startup mentality, be willing to wear many hats, and tackle other tasks as they arise to help the team succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
- Act as the central point of communication across departments to facilitate collaboration and information sharing.
- Monitor project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Identify potential roadblocks and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
Product Launch Support:
- Oversee the execution of product launch plans, ensuring all teams are aligned and prepared.
- Track progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful product rollouts.
Cross-Department Communication:
- Ensure all teams understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Host regular meetings to update teams on progress and address concerns.
- Document and share key decisions, updates, and changes with relevant stakeholders.
New Product Development:
- Support the product department in developing and launching new physical products.
- Conduct research and coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to meet development timelines.
- Track and report on development milestones and budgets.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and tools.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and communication across departments.
Ad Hoc Tasks:
- Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as they arise, contributing to the overall success of the team and company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in project management, preferably in product development or consumer goods is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, fitness or health & wellness preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management software and G Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A startup mentality and willingness to adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
