Overview:
The Deposit Operations Officer is responsible for the management and direction of all operations activities. They will manage the day-to-day operations of the deposit operations department and oversee all employees and processes within that department.
Responsibilities and Results:
- Handles more involved complications, various reports and calls from customers with unusual problems or disputes.
- Applies superior customer service with prompt follow-through with involved customers and employees.
- Exhibits, develops and maintains knowledge and oversees the process of proof/transit, funds transfer, check processing and bookkeeping.
- May represent the Bank in various community functions.
- Cross sells the Bank’s other products and services, referring customers to appropriate staff.
- Oversees fraud, disputes and deposit account maintenance.
- Works closely with all branches on deposit account related activity.
- Actively participates on various committees.
- Works ethically and with integrity while upholding organizational values.
- Assures compliance with all applicable Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations.
- Supervise deposit operations clerks by training, monitoring performance and planning of work.
- May be required to lead special projects as needed.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
