What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Sherry Hurst Legal Recruiting?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, doing data entry, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed. This position is working with a busy trial attorney in a Plaintiff's personal injury firm. No travel required unless the Paralegal would like to travel to trials.
Responsibilities
- Legal fact and basic legal research
- Assist with case management
- Organize and electronically file pleadings
- Coordinate and schedule calendars
- Trial preparation
Qualifications
- 5 years' as a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Legal Assistant or Paralegal
- Trial experience a plus
- Ability to work overtime occasionally
