Job Summary
The Sr. Applications Developer designs, develops, tests, maintains and enhances the entire scope of projects and multiple application software programs for a leading global IT solution provider. The Sr. Applications Developer will mentor and guide junior developers in the best practices of software development. The Sr. Applications Developer will interact directly with our customers to determine requirements and deliver quality software which exceeds their expectations.
This position reports to the IT Solutions Manager and is performed at the SHI office location in Somerset, NJ.

Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the AX Development team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications
- Assist in the collection and documentation of end user requirements and use cases
- Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
- Build web services
- Mentor more junior team members
- Act as subject matter expert regarding on coding best practices
- Analyze and resolve technical application issues
- Provide technical support to the Business Analysts
- Partner with the Business Analysts in solving business problems
- Work closely with business users on their computing needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a Related Business discipline, or relevant work experience required
- 10 years of C# development experience
- 10 years of SQL development experience
- 5 years of Windows development
- 3 years of RESTful API development experience
- Experience working with version control concepts
- Experience with integrating various systems

Additional Information
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $90,000 – $200,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
