What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Custodian position at Shiloh Christian School?
The evening custodian position will perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in classrooms, hallways, general-use areas, and bathrooms. The ideal candidate has knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions; is detail-oriented and thorough; has the ability to keep the school clean and orderly; and can interact with staff, students, parents, and visitors at school while remaining professional.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Background check.
- Experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Work Schedule & Environment
The general work schedule for this is Monday - Friday, 3:30pm - 9:30pm. This position could be split/job shared. There is the expectation that this position will be flexible and able to work around Shiloh events that take place in the evening.
This is a school-year contract (mid August to end of May).
