Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Japanese hot dishes and western-inspired dishes with a Japanese twist according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow during service.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared with consistency, quality, and timeliness.
- Assist with daily prep work, including slicing, dicing, marinating, and organizing ingredients.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked station, replenishing ingredients as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and management to resolve issues and meet guest expectations.
- Monitor inventory and notify the kitchen manager of low supplies or equipment issues.
