Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Sterile Processing Tech to join our team. Here in St. Louis we specialize in orthopaedics.

Responsibilities

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for providing reprocessed supplies and equipment required by all departments that render patient care. In this position, you'll ensure that all instruments are sterile, which will help maintain a safe environment for our patients.

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma or GED required

Certification/Licensure

CSPDT or equivalent certification required within 12 months

Skills

1 year experience in sterile processing preferred
