Responsibilities
Summary:
Patient Access, Scheduling, Registration and patient discharge (including all required signatures and follow up). Insurance verification and authorization approval for POPS services. Entering data into OPIE, obtaining detailed written orders (including physician signature), audit of work in progress (WIP) through date of delivery. Provides estimates of fees to families, including discussing their financial obligation (when appropriate) including financial counseling and means testing when indicated. Audit of EMR prior to submission for billing.

- Provides secretarial and clerical support for the department managers and staff to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work within the department. Performs various clerical support tasks on an ongoing basis
