As a part of the High Purity Quartz Operations, the Continuous Improvement Specialist role will empower you to analyze risks and issues within our processes, as well as test and analyze potential solutions to these risks and issues. You will report to the Manager of Technical Operations and work closely with the Plant managers of our sites to provide data-driven support for implementation and improvement decisions.

As a part of the High Purity Quartz Operations, the Continuous Improvement Specialist role will empower you to analyze risks and issues within our processes, as well as test and analyze potential solutions to these risks and issues. You will report to the Manager of Technical Operations and work closely with the Plant managers of our sites to provide data-driven support for implementation and improvement decisions.
Your Impact in This Role:
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Consolidate process, end-product, and lab results data to uncover the most critical risks in production processes
- Conduct and support “Root Cause Analysis” for recurring issues and defects in end-products or processes
- Provide analytical support for building business cases for solutions to be implemented by operations, e.g., effectiveness of pilots for process changes, to assist the Project Management Office Manager (PMO) in prioritization and getting initiatives approved
- Prioritize issues and quality risks, as well as mitigating actions, based on analysed impact on product quality
- Build initiative pipeline to continuously improve operations and define implementation roadmap together with Operations and PMO
- Effective visualization of RCA findings and analysis on potential improvements
- BS/MS in Engineering, with a background in Data Analysis
- 2-4 years experience in a similar role with an strong analytical approach Mastering Excel and PowerPoint
- A strong communicator with experience in / TQM / TPM
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma (black belt) will be a nice to have
- Programming language or analytical tools in line with own preference
- Fluency written and spoken English.
