The Facilities Electrician provides critical support to the Facilities Management team by performing a variety of electrical systems maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and general repairs. They also help to complete projects in all areas of facilities management, including plumbing, HVAC, construction, renovation, and vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine electrical repairs, run and maintain wiring and lighting systems, install conduit, and test and troubleshoot a variety of electrical systems.
- Assist in all areas of building maintenance including structural facade, alarm systems, house lighting and emergency safety lights, and interior and exterior building components.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and assist in repairing HVAC systems.
- Able to perform a variety of basic plumbing repairs, maintenance, and assist in renovation projects.
- Perform vehicle and equipment maintenance and in-house repairs.
Prerequisites:
- Experience working with residential and/or commercial electrical systems, plumbing systems, and building maintenance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven problem solver
- Positive attitude with a servant-hearted nature
- Valid Driver's License
