Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Signature Smiles Dental is an anxiety free and sedation dentistry practice with state-of-the-art services. We are family owned with 3 locations in Brunswick, Streetsboro, and Elyria. We pride ourselves in our passion to provide excellent care.
We are hiring an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for our busy dental practice in Elyria, Ohio. The EFDA provides chair-side assistance to ensure excellent service.
What You Will Do:
- Provide chair-side assistance for provider during dental procedures.
- Chart and take x-rays.
- Provide fillings and optimal restorative health.
- Review dental records with patients, providing instruction on postoperative procedures.
- Prepare and breakdown operatory and equipment prior to and between each patient visit.
- Organize and manage lab processing and handling.
- Maintaining clear and open communication with doctors.
- Make patient follow up calls.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 2 years of EFDA experience required.
- Radiographer license required.
- Active EFDA license required.
- Knowledge of Open Dental required.
- Must have firm knowledge of dental materials and instruments required.
What We Pay:
- Salary: $60,000 - $64,000 per year
