Job Description: Our Assistant Chief Pilot is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership for pilots and delivering technical and operational oversight to maintain compliance in operating standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage pilot schedules and PTO requests within assigned fleet.
- Manage the pilots within the assigned fleet and conduct performance evaluations to provide feedback regarding performance.
- Act as the first line of contact for pilots with in assigned fleet. Elevate any issues up to Chief Pilot as necessary.
- Work with Chief pilot group to develop, communicate, and implement efficient operational procedures and policies.
- Work with the training coordinator to ensure proper scheduling of pilot training events.
- Conduct quality assurance flights to ensure compliance of policies and procedures.
- Communicate all personnel or disciplinary issues to Chief Pilot.
- Perform flight duties as Captain on qualified aircraft based on scheduling needs and crew capacity.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience Part 135 operations.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as PIC in type.
- IOE, Instructor, or check airman experience, preferred.
- ATP license, required.
- 2500 hours total time.
- 500 hours multi time.
- Valid passport.
- 90-day currency.
- Clean FAA record.
- Must be located within one (1) hour of KLNK.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
