Position: Junior Engineer International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking qualified candidates for a Junior Engineer, providing PEO IWS 1.0 engineering analysis and management support to the US Navy. The selected individual will support PEO IWS 1.0 on AEGIS Development and Integration projects associated with various configurations of the AEGIS Combat System. Education / Professional Work Experience Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM degree program • Minimum of one (1) year of experience; with preferably one to five (1-5) years of professional experience in an engineering, systems management, or project / program management role • Experience using systems engineering practices to design, manage, test, evaluate, and support technical projects
Required experience: • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including SharePoint and Teams • Experience working in a project oriented and collaborative environment • Experience with JIRA and Confluence or other similar digital collaboration and program / project management tools • Possess strong communication skills (oral and written) • Ability to work independently and in a team environment Desired experience: • Experience with Navy weapons and combat systems • Experience with software development and testing in an agile environment The position will be located in Washington, DC and will require travel approximately less than 10% of the time.
