Accounts Receivable Accountant
The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be a hands-on role, with the ability to efficiently manage the daily operations and strategic objectives of the Billing and Accounts Receivable cycle. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and management of all of the Accounts Receivable business functions and procedures from billing through the collection process.

- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as contract data entry, preparing invoices, sending invoice reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
- Processing, verifying and posting receipts for services rendered.
- Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
- Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
- Obtaining information from lead partners and project managers to ensure records and contracts are accurately completed.
- Generating reports and statements for internal use.
- Posting payments accurately to customers’ accounts.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
- Work collaboratively with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Generating AR Aging report to ensure compliance.
- Assist with miscellaneous ad-hoc projects.
- Provide the billing plan at the beginning of the month.
- Process revenue adjustments and project reporting adjustments.
- Review the project list monthly for reporting accuracy.
- Handle Accounts Receivable close activities for cash basis financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years of accounts receivables and general accounting.
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures and general accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, project management and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel and Word, SAP experience a plus.
- Excellent customer service and analytical skills.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
The pay range for this position is $60,000 – $70,000/yr. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 13 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
