What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist - Full Time, PM Shift position at Simple Laboratories?
Are you an experienced phlebotomist, MA or nurse? If this describes you, please apply! We want to find someone to provide the best patient care and we want a team member who can meet our clients needs. This position is located in Jackson Park Hospital.
Work hours: Full-time PM Shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm) with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities include:
- Having a caring personality and the ability to put patients at ease.
- Perform venipuncture in a clinic and prepare all samples for transport to the laboratory.
- Fill out requisition forms electronically, pull lab results and prepare other documents required for laboratory.
- Independent / remote work. Must be comfortable to ask questions via the main laboratory by calling and interacting with sales and customer service based in headquarters.
Candidate must be skilled in:
- Venipuncture
- Butterfly
- Vacutainer
Requirements:
- Hepatitis B Vaccination
- Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant Certification with Phlebotomy training
- A reliable car with insurance for occasional deliveries or pick-ups
- Good attitude
- Flexible with availability
- Basic computer skills a must
