We’re looking for a motivated External Wholesaler to drive sales of our SEC RIA-advised funds in the RIA distribution channel. Backed by a 125-year family office legacy, we offer innovative investment solutions. In this hybrid role, you'll lead product approvals, build strong RIA relationships, and balance in-office work with client-facing travel to expand our reach.
Key Responsibilities
External Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with RIAs, family offices, and institutional investors.
- Present and promote the company’s real estate and specialty finance investment products and services through in-person and virtual meetings, webinars, and conferences.
- Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets for product adoption and AUM growth.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and maintain awareness of competitors and industry trends.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external clients, addressing questions, concerns, and providing ongoing support.
Internal Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and operational capabilities.
- Assist in developing marketing materials, sales decks, and product briefs tailored to specific client needs.
- Coordinate closely with the compliance team to ensure all sales activities meet regulatory standards.
- Support internal training initiatives to educate staff on product offerings and sales strategies.
- Provide feedback from the field to influence product development and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in wholesaling investment products, preferably within the RIA, real estate, or specialty finance sectors.
- Established relationships with RIAs are required.
- 3 Years of Experience
- Deep understanding of real estate investment vehicles (e.g., REITs, private equity funds, 1031 exchanges) and specialty finance products.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance external and internal responsibilities effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis to track client interactions and sales performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, Series 7, 63, 65/66) are preferred.
