Simplified Mine Instruments (SMI) is seeking a skilled Field Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot underground monitoring equipment at client sites.
This role involves setting up devices, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
You will provide hands-on technical support, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions to enhance equipment performance. The position requires occasional travel to client locations, including underground mining and tunneling environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install and configure ground monitoring devices at client sites.
- Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely.
- Collaborate with clients to provide technical support and training.
- Document service activities, including maintenance reports and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during fieldwork.
Requirements
Qualifications :
