Experience:
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Required)
- Must maintain licensure in State of Mississippi as a Medical Radiation technologist (Required)
- Must complete 24 hours of continuing education as approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist every 2 years
- Proficient in CT scanning (preferred)

- Certification and/or diploma from an accredited school of Radiologic Technologists (Required)

Position Summary:
To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of diagnostic radiographic equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Properly records entries on Radiology and Hospital Information System.
- Receives and interprets requests and/or instructions for radiological procedures.
- Operates computer and radiological equipment for image production and documentation.
- Performs quality control measures to ensure optimal quality of images.
- Follows professional code of ethics in all aspects of practice.
- Assists with maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Performs clerical duties related to scheduling of radiological procedures.
- Adheres to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in in-service education programs as directed or scheduled.
- Maintains confidentiality in matters related to patient, family and facility staff
- Performs other duties as assigned.
