ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

SITA Barcelona is on the lookout for recent graduates to join our SkyStar Program within the AI function, initially for a 12 month period, with opportunity to become permanent.

Your main tasks will involve supporting the Data Intelligence team which develops and deploys data-driven and AI-powered solutions to optimize operations in the aviation industry, with a specific focus on reducing the sector's CO2 emissions. For example, SITA Opticlimb helps to save fuel for each climb by computing optimal climb speeds considering several factors like air density, weight, etc. Providing assistance under supervision of the AI Manager, and ensuring the smooth operation of The Data Intelligence team. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Collaborate with AI Experts to develop and optimize AI models and algorithms for aviation operations

Assist in implementing and maintaining the AI pipeline and infrastructure for data processing and model training

Support AI Experts in conducting experiments and tests to evaluate the performance and accuracy of AI models.

Pre-process?and analyze data using Python and relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) to prepare it for model training and evaluation

Contribute to the development of data pre-processing?techniques, feature engineering approaches, and model evaluation methodologies

Qualifications : WHO YOU ARE

You currently hold a Master's degree, an Engineering degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.

Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.

Knowledge of data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.

Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with AI advancements.
